I'm a cover girl!

Wow, I'm a cover girl :-)

Check out the November issue of Romantic Times Book Reveiws magazine to read all about me and Silver Silence, the third book in my Druids of Avalon trilogy!

4-1/2 stars!
"Nash beautifully presents another slice of the Arthuran legend featuring characters with great depth. She seamlessly merges the hero's and heroine's maturation with Druid legends as they move 300 years [into the future] to help ensure Arthur's birth. This tale, full of adventure and romance, will suck you in and be long remembered. As it moves to its startling and totally unexpected conclusion, readers will gasp for breath."

New TV Season starts next week!

I'm looking forward to the new TV season next week! Here are the three shows I'm hooked on. Of course, two are on at the same time! God bless TIVO and TV network Internet broadcasts. :-)

My Inner Geek LOVES The Big Bang Theory. Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock, anyone?

THE BIG BANG THEORY - 2009 Premiere - CBS Monday, Sept. 21, 9:30 p.m. ET

Numb3ers is more Chicken Soup for my Geek Soul - with hot, hot men and FBI chase action! I started out this series in love with Charlie's character - a gorgeous, brilliant mathematician, hopelessly awkward with women. The longer I watch, the more I like Don - FBI tough, an emotionally conflicted warrior, hopelessly dysfunctional with women. Sensing a trend here?

NUMB3ERS - CBS - 2009 Premiere - Friday Sept 24, 10:00 p.m. ET

When I'm sick of how much the Numb3ers father-and-sons team love each other in between crime-fighting scenes, I'm ready for an episode of House! Don't we all wish we had the guts to call the hypocrites to the carpet a la Dr. House? I wonder if drug rehab has softened his style. I hope not!

HOUSE - Fox - 2009 Premiere - Monday, Sept. 21 8:00 p.m. ET/PT

Happy TV watching!

Joy's DragonCon Photo Album

Coming off a busy week - still fighting my day-night reversal from DragonCon. THREE back-to-school night meetings this past week, and then yesterday I drove out to Pocono-Lehigh Romance Writers in Easton PA to give a talk on The Mythological Hero. Whew.

Finally got to catch up on my sleep last night :-)

Other good news - found out that I'm a double finalist in New Jersey Romance Writer's Golden Leaf Contest - in the paranormal category for Immortals: The Crossing, and in the Long Contemporary category for A Little Light Magic! :-)

Uploaded all my pictures from DragonCon at last, including men in kilts and men with bare chests. :0)

Check out my complete Joy's DragonCon Album, 49 photos, now up on my Facebook page - not to worry if you're not on Facebook, all and sundry can view the album:

Enjoy!

Getting in touch with my inner Klingon...

I'm in total Star Trek fangirl mode here at DragonCon. When I wasn't at our dealer booth yesterday talking to readers, I was stalking Star Trek stars :-)

Saw Spock, Kirk, Picard, Janeway, Malcolm McDowell (the evil genius who killed Kirk!) - also secondary characters Harry Kim and Reg Barclay...

But the most fun was the Miss Klingon Empire Beauty Pageant - and running into Miss Klingon Empire 2009 later on the street...

DragonCon update

Here I am at DragonCon!

Set up our booth in the Marriott Marquis Ballroom last night, in between wandering around the Marriott gawking at the costumes. Saw a Star Wars Storm Trooper at the bar, numerous pirates and hot men in kilts (a great fantasy for sure!). Zombies are really popular this year - A Zombie Elvis was making the rounds!

And I haven't even gotten to the other hotels yet...

Internet at the hotel is slower than molasses on Mars...So check for pics of our booth on Caridad Pineiro's blog at http://www.caridad.com/blog/

More coming up...

Joy
