Romantic Times 2007 - Houston Texas!

I'm home and (mostly) recovered from the Romantic Times Booklovers' Convention in Houston, Texas. It was fun meeting with readers, cover models, aspiring writers, cover models, other authors, cover models, publishing professionals, cover models, and of course the staff of Romantic Times Magazine. And did I mention the cover models????

And it was a huge thrill to accept the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award for Best Historical Fantasy of 2006 for The Grail King! I've never spoken before such a big crowd, and I'm sure I was babbling incoherently by the time I got to the end of my acceptance speech.

Here are some pics...

The Immortals authors and our editor pose with the Immortals covers just before Dorchester's Immortals Rock n Roll Extravaganza! From left: Dorchester editor Leah Hultenschmidt; Jennifer Ashley (author of The Calling - available now! and The Gathering); Robin Popp (author of The Darkening) ; and me, Joy Nash (author of The Awakening).

This nice gentleman, author Will Belegon, attended the Immortals Extravaganza dressed as Kalen, the hero of The Awakening! Catch Will at Will Belegon

And last...me and Mr. Romance 2007, Jason Santiago. Jason will be featured on a book by Dorchester Publishing in the near future!

Later...
