Pots and Trees

We hauled the tree home yesterday! I don't think Nixie--who we rescued last summer--is too sure about the bit of outdoors that's suddenly come inside. (She's also not too sure about my youngest son, who just got home from college, but that's another story...)

Today's Icelandic Yule Lad, Stubby the Pot Scraper, is the runt of the family. His mission? To helpfully scrape the bacon fat out of your frying pan!
