Oh, my. Some of these costumes are fantastic. Looking at the Netherworld float looks like a professional job from a movie. The Spartan Warriors certainly look like central casting sent them over.
We aren't that far from Atlanta, 4 or 5 hours . One of these days maybe I'll be able to convince my husband to go down. If not I've got one friend who would appreciate it.
The Netherworld people have a haunted house somewhere in Atlanta that they were publicizing at the Con. I'm sure it was waaaay creepy!
You should really go to DragonCon if you are close to Atlanta - it's certainly an experience!
I've been there and the weeping statue looked odd for some reason. Maybe it was just my imagination >.<
I will be attending this years Dragon*Con, it will be held Labor Day weekend (September 2-5, 2011) in Atlanta, GA!
