The Darkening is here!

Book 2 of the Immortals series, The Darkening by Robin T. Popp, is here!

Lexi Corvin, werewolf and bounty hunter, keeps crossing paths with the Immortal Darius in New York City. Evil is brewing in the vampire clubs--will Lexi’s best friend be the next victim?

The second installment to the Immortals story is as hot as the first ! Lexi is as kick-ass as a heroine gets...she's not gonna let sexy, arrogant Darius steal her thunder.

More hot news...the first Immortals book, The Calling by Jennifer Ashley is a USA TODAY BESTSELLER!

Coming soon...books 3 & 4, Immortals: The Awakening by Joy Nash (July 31) and Immortals: The Gathering by Jennifer Ashley(August 28)

Not Penny's Boat

Well, how did everyone like the LOST season 3 finale???

I was sad to see one of my favorite characters die a horrible death, but very happy one of my all time faves dodged the bullet (literally). All in all a great end to a great season. Word is that we are halfway through. Three seasons to go and the producers say they already know what happens at the end. But I'm not sure I believe that.

Questions still to be answered (or maybe not):

Why didn't they just cut the big extension cord to the Looking Glass?

Why didn't Locke shoot Jack?

Will Jack regret not killing Ben?

Why didn't Tom kill Sayid, Bernard, & Jin?

Can Ben's eyes bug out any farther?

Speaking of eyes, why are there so few brown-eyed people on this island?

Why is Juliet so annoying?

Why does the Ageless One (aka Eyeliner Guy) listen to Ben?

Is Walt dead?

Will time travel be part of Season Four?

Was Juliet *really* joking when she mentioned aliens?

Does Jacob (aka Ben's Imaginary Friend) really need Locke's help?

Is Kate pregnant?

Will Sun die?

Does Kate look better with curly hair or straight hair?

How did Alex & Carl get matching big lips?

What happened to the numbers?

If the castaways get off the island, will the world they return to be the same one they left?

Can Sawyer get any hotter?

Can we pass a law that says Sayid's shirts can never have sleeves?

And lastly...if that's not Penny's boat, whose is it?

Romantic Times 2007 - Houston Texas!

I'm home and (mostly) recovered from the Romantic Times Booklovers' Convention in Houston, Texas. It was fun meeting with readers, cover models, aspiring writers, cover models, other authors, cover models, publishing professionals, cover models, and of course the staff of Romantic Times Magazine. And did I mention the cover models????

And it was a huge thrill to accept the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award for Best Historical Fantasy of 2006 for The Grail King! I've never spoken before such a big crowd, and I'm sure I was babbling incoherently by the time I got to the end of my acceptance speech.

Here are some pics...

The Immortals authors and our editor pose with the Immortals covers just before Dorchester's Immortals Rock n Roll Extravaganza! From left: Dorchester editor Leah Hultenschmidt; Jennifer Ashley (author of The Calling - available now! and The Gathering); Robin Popp (author of The Darkening) ; and me, Joy Nash (author of The Awakening).

This nice gentleman, author Will Belegon, attended the Immortals Extravaganza dressed as Kalen, the hero of The Awakening! Catch Will at Will Belegon

And last...me and Mr. Romance 2007, Jason Santiago. Jason will be featured on a book by Dorchester Publishing in the near future!
